The Influence of Our Attitude

June 5, 2017 By Administrator

Attitude is a frame of mind affecting one’s thoughts or behavior.

Peter teaches “So be done with every trace of wickedness (depravity, malignity) and all deceit and insincerity (pretense, hypocrisy), and grudges (envy, jealousy) and slander and evil speaking of every kind” (1 Peter 2:1 AMP).

6 For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices. (Jas 3:16 AMPC)

As a person thinketh in his heart, so is he (Prov 23:7-KJV)

Altitude is the perpendicular height above a reference point. If your reference point begins with a particular thought; then that is what will greatly influence what you say and do. Thus the reason that attitude = altitude.   Learn to discipline your thoughts to always agree with God’s Word. Bring into captivity and cast down all those that don’t. (2 Cor 10:5). If we fail to cast down thoughts that violate or contradict God’s Word; then eventually those thoughts will be spoken and acted upon.   When words are spoken they are seeds that will produce a harvest of like kind.   Potential is in the seed to reproduce.   Also spoken words give legal rights to the origin of the source of spoken words to bring into manifestation of what was spoken. God’s Words have the power and presence of God within them to perform what God intended when He first spoke them. Apply God’s Word in all of your experiences and circumstances

To apply God’s Word is to put it to practical use, employ or direct it into your circumstances to do what God designed it to do. Eccl 8:16-17-Amp.). Just like a skilled worker, the right tool (WORD) must be employed for the right job (circumstance). Agreement in Heaven and on earth is manifested as God’s Word prayed to Him is the same spoken to the circumstance being addressed. Instead of talking about the things troubling you follow Christ example and instructions and speak directly to those things expecting God to perform every jot and tittle of His Word.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Mk 11:24-25 KJV).

Failure to forgive others will be a self imposed hindrance to prayers being answered.

God said that: “10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” ( Isa 55:10-11 KJV).

God said that like rain and snow, His Word leaves heaven embodied with purpose and power to perform. His Word leaves heaven and is released into the earth when prayed and spoken by a believer. Like rain the purpose (e.g. waters the earth) is accomplished immediately. However in some situations, it will take time and patience for the purpose of snow (e.g. water the earth) to be performed. It might require the heat of the sun to make a demand on the potential before performance occurs. After performance and rain and snow have been emptied into the earth, they both return to God as mist. Know this that God’s Word will always be accomplished just as He designed and destined it to do so.
